IN CURTATONE MYNET IS WORKING TO CONNECT THE INDUSTRIAL AREA AND SCHOOLS IN THE TERRITORY TO OPTIC FIBER
CURTATONE (MANTUA) – After activating the new wi-fi network of the Municipality last spring, Mynet is continuing its work in the territory of Curtatone in these weeks by connecting to its FTTH fiber optic network (real fiber optics right inside the building) with speeds of up to 1 Gbit/s also the production areas of the capital and the hamlets.

A concrete response to the needs of businesses but also of citizens who live in the areas affected by the interventions: the hamlet of Buscoldo has already been reached, where the companies located in Strada Salmaso have been relegated; in San Silvestro, instead, the proprietary fiber optic network infrastructure has been created in Via XX Settembre, Via Garibaldi, Via Trento, Via Trieste and Via Pisacane. The same operation was completed in Levata along Via Pascoli, Via Carducci and Via Canneti, while at the same time the action of relegating the contracted customers in the Eremo area continued.

The activity carried out on the schools is also intense: in fact, in these days, the interventions that closely concern the “Collodi” primary school, the “Biffi” nursery school and the San Silvestro nursery school, the Curtatone comprehensive institute, the Buscoldo nursery school, the “Feltre” secondary school, the “P.F. Calvi” primary school, the Levata nursery school, and finally the “Don Grioli” and “Papa Giovanni XXIII” primary schools have started.

The activities of infrastructural extension of the network are currently being carried out, with the construction of new manhole covers and related sub-equipment; at the end of the road activities, all the installations of the entrances to the individual school buildings, the junctions and the testing of the optical circuits will be scheduled.

This intervention by Mynet, whose positive effects on the world of school – a world that needs a good Internet connection more than ever – are easily imaginable.

"Covid has taught us this harshly: the digitalization of schools, together with that of companies, is a real priority that requires adequate infrastructures - explains the General Manager of Mynet, Giovanni Zorzoni. - Our commitment has always gone in this direction: to make fast connections and innovative networks available to teaching, in Curtatone as well as in all the schools in our province".

"Very important and indispensable infrastructure works for our territory - adds the Councilor for Urban Planning, Cinzia Cicola; - the close synergy and collaboration between the public and private sectors is working to best serve the territory in all its facets, from school buildings to businesses to citizens' residences; I thank Mynet for the great work it constantly carries out".
