WITH MYNET THE DIGITAL CONVERSION OF BRENZONE STARTS WITH THE COMPANIES
WITH MYNET THE DIGITAL CONVERSION OF BRENZONE STARTS WITH THE COMPANIES
09/21/2022
BRENZONE SUL GARDA (VERONA) – After the Municipality and domestic users, Mynet is betting on the future of Brenzone sul Garda with a new infrastructure project for the area that will support the digital transition of businesses through fast, high-performance and stable connectivity. The announcement was made just a few days ago during a closed-door meeting between the Municipal Administration and the telecommunications operator, who together presented the latest opportunities in terms of technological innovation to the tourist and hospitality businesses in the area.
Companies will be able to take advantage of the Voucher Plan for businesses that aims to promote ultra-fast connectivity and the digitalization of the production system, to obtain connection to Mynet's real optical fiber at a discounted rate. Officially launched on March 1, 2022, the Plan is accessible until December 15 and in any case until the funds run out. The incentive – Mynet recalled during the meeting – allows access to ultra-broadband connectivity services up to 1.5 Gbit/s speed, at a reduced activation cost and maintaining the fee agreed upon during the signing of the contract.
Expectations are high and also concern the opportunities for tourist regeneration of the territory that will open up thanks to the Connectivity Voucher Plan. Thus the President of the Brenzone sul Garda Hoteliers Association, Giuditta Isotta: «There is obviously great interest in the C voucher, a measure that will allow Brenzone companies to benefit from important economic advantages for the development of their digital services, thus exploiting the best Internet technology available. We care about the fabric of local hospitality businesses, for this reason we trust that many will be able to access it, thus improving their services».
The Municipality has also recently activated its own 1 Gbit/s speed circuit, as confirmed by Mayor Davide Benedetti: «The capillary infrastructure created by Mynet in recent months crosses the entire town, including the lakeside and the hamlets, and is part of the much larger project of fiber optic connection in FTTH mode (Fiber To The Home - fiber up to the inside of buildings) of the entire Veronese shore of Lake Garda, which started a few months ago from Malcesine and has also reached the famous tourist resort of Peschiera del Garda. Today, thanks also to the Connectivity Plan, we are once again extending our network by making it available to citizens and hoteliers, because as President Isotta rightly pointed out, the Association cares a lot about tourism, and the Internet is an essential tool for the entire category. For the future - concluded Benedetti - we expect to invest further in new infrastructure, reaching even areas not currently reached by fiber optics».
