Fibre optics: a new fruit of the land of Trentino date: 12 April 2017 location: Cantina Mori Colli Zugna address: Località Formigher, Mori (Trento) An event that enhances MyNet's mission: to bring infrastructure and technology to productive areas with high potential but geographically located in areas far from large industrial centres. The objective specifically was to bring fibre optic coverage to the artisan area of Mori. An infrastructural innovation project carried out in collaboration with local administrations and operators, for a technological and economic development that follows the guidelines of the European digital agenda. MyNet has a strong presence in Trentino, where it has implemented massive projects guaranteeing fibre optic connections to companies located in areas that were not previously reached by this type of very high-speed network. In Mori, MyNet has worked with the support of the municipality and the mayor Stefano Barozzi and in close collaboration with Trentino Network, the public capital company that manages the telecommunications networks in the province of Trento. Fibre optics is an essential requirement for the industrial and artisan areas of Trentino, which in their daily operations need very high speed for the transmission of data over the network, resulting in increased efficiency, productivity and competitiveness. The inauguration event for the new fibre optic infrastructure was held at the Cantina Mori Colli Zugna di Mori, a location that perfectly represents the excellence of a highly productive territory, with a vocation for combining technological innovation and tradition.
