IN ASOLA MYNET HAS STARTED THE WORK OF BINDING THE MUNICIPAL BUILDINGS IN REAL OPTIC FIBER
ASOLA (MANTUA) – Mynet is currently carrying out the FTTH (Fiber To The Home – real optical fiber right into the building) linking activities for the municipal offices of Asola.

More specifically, the municipal office in Piazza XX Settembre, the primary school in Via Brescia, the nursery school in Via Montessori, the museum and the headquarters of the Informagiovani office in Via Giuseppe Garibaldi will soon be connected to the real optical fiber.

The project also includes the hamlet of Castelnuovo Asolano, where the municipal delegation of Via Bellini, the nursery school in Via Solferino and the information totem installed along the same street will soon be linked; the service will also be available for domestic connections in Via Bellini, Via Rossini and Via dei Boschetti. The small town of Sorbara will not be excluded either, which will soon be affected by the project to extend the Mynet fiber optic network.

The innovative infrastructure installed by the telecommunications operator will reduce the digital divide throughout the municipal area, with countless advantages also for private users, who will be able to count on extremely high-performance connectivity with web browsing speeds of up to 1 Gbit/s, making smart working, distance learning, very low latency gaming and high-resolution streaming fully accessible.

of digital, security and privacy protection online means addressing issues that are now part of our daily lives - continues Zorzoni. - Simple operations such as sending an email involve activities that we do not see but that have a strong impact, starting from greenhouse gas emissions due to the use of energy by our computers and devices, use of water and impact on the territory resulting from the extraction, construction and distribution of metals and other materials that make up our vast global digital infrastructure, and much more. An example: just one hour of videoconferencing can emit up to 1 kg of CO2 and require up to 12 liters of water, but turning off the camera saves over 98% of these emissions. If we then move on to the topic of privacy and personal data - adds the DG of Mynet - the topics to be covered are almost infinite. To begin with, our personal data is collected and processed in many different ways on the internet, often putting us and those around us at risk. Well, as a general rule, you should not provide personal data to an online service without knowing how the data is used. But unfortunately, this is not enough. The seminars organized in collaboration with LugMan will help us take stock of all these topics, in a simple, accessible and immediately applicable way".

Not just agriculture, therefore, but also a lot of technology this year at the Millenaria Fair with Mynet. The appointment is at stand 30 - pavilion 4, with free admission to all events. For info: tel. 0376 22 22 00 - home@mynet.it
